Weston Pride 2026 Coffee Morning

Weston-super-Mare Pride 2026 is a free, family-friendly celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, bringing colour, music and community spirit back to the town.
Join us for a relaxing coffee, cake and a chat about possibilities. Help us to promote Weston Pride 2026, raise funds and recruit volunteers to help out on the day.

Are you struggling with an extreme build-up of items? Do you have an excessive attachment to these items? This new monthly meeting, on the second Monday of every month, is for anyone struggling with this increasingly common problem.

Weston Poets

The themes for this session will be ‘Cats’ and ‘Birthdays‘ but, as always, any poems are welcome.
Weston Poets are also putting together poems about Weston-super-Mare, so poems about our town are also very welcome!

In the Circle of Life: Film and Supper

Across the ancient continent now called Australia, songlines stretch like veins of ancestral memory, alive and humming with story. The film challenges us to face our shared history, illuminating humanity’s capacity for both destruction and healing.
Join us for supper at 5.30pm and an inspiring film starting at 6.15pm. All welcome, no booking needed.

Accelerating Change for Organisations: Funding and Fundraising
Thurs 28 May, 6pm to 7.30pm
This session is for grass roots organisations who are providing vital support and connection for people within our local communities.
It will be delivered by Black South West Network in collaboration with RENS, and will focus on preparing for funding and fundraising.
All welcome. No booking needed.

Brain Health and Dementia Research
Fri 29 May, 10.30am to 12pm
A confidential discussion with researchers from the University of Bristol about brain health and dementia. If you are over 60 years old and have concerns about your memory or someone else‘s, do join us for a relaxed and friendly discussion.
Each group member will receive a £50 shopping voucher, but places are limited.

Two informal weekly groups. Join others who love to dance. Monday is Zumba, Thurs is Day Dancing. All welcome. No booking needed.
Please note that these sessions have no tutor, and are simply a group of people meeting up to watch You Tube videos and practice moves together rather than alone.

A drop-in session for anyone who is having housing difficulties.
Bhakti Basics – Krishna Consciousness in Weston-super-Mare
Sundays, 1pm to 3pm
A group of people from all walks of life who come together for an afternoon of Devotional Music (Kirtan), Mantra Meditation, a short discourse on Krishna Consciousness and a Vegetarian Meal.
The focus is on community and all are welcome. No previous experience or knowledge needed.
Free event, no booking is needed.
Ageing Without Children

A new group has recently been set up for people living in North Somerset who are Ageing without Children (AWOC) – which includes those that do not have any children and those who do not have any contact with their children. The group aims to provide peer support as well as practical information.
